The mission of San Lorenzo High School is to challenge students to reach their highest level of academic achievement, to provide opportunities and support for social and emotional growth, and to build connections to future education, assisting them to become successful members of the 21st century society.

As the historian of San Lorenzo's 2008-2009 Associated Body, it is my duty to use photography as a vehicle in hopes of bridging the gaps, enhancing the Rebel Brand and creating a safe and fun environment for all Rebels.

  • San Lorenzo's Next Historian WANTED

I love this job. I would not trade it for a another position on ASB. Not even the President (nothing against the president). If I was a Junior I would definitely reapply for this job. My photography journey started about a year ago and I've grown so much not only as a photographer but as a person as well. My perspective on photography has completely changed. My life goals have changed. I alot has changed. My personality has changed too. Being historian enable me to not only capture memories but also create memories. I owe most of it to ASB. Wurm is the hardest working Activies Director, teacher, and coach. NOBODY DOES IT LIKE WE DO! OUR ASB IS THE HARDEST WORKING ASB IN THE BAY AREA, MAYBE CALIFORINA. Yes you've heard me. Examine at the photos see for yourself. Unfortunately, I'm a senior and I need someone to take my place and live it up. Are you ready to learn? Ready for a challenge? Ready to be inspired? Ready to be a leader?

    The Laramie Project

Props to the cast and the drama department. They pulled it off. It was definitely a controversial play and a different one. They really switched their purpose this year from a entertaining to awareness and more serious. The play was very emotional and moving. Go see for your self!

San Lorenzo High Drama Department Presents....

    The Laramie Project

The Laramie Project is a play by Moisés Kaufman and members of the Tectonic Theater Project about the reaction to the 1998 murder of University of Wyoming student Matthew Shepard in Laramie, Wyoming. The murder is widely considered to be a hate crime motivated by homophobia.

The play draws on hundreds of interviews conducted by the theatre company with inhabitants of the town, company members' own journal entries and published news reports. It is divided into three acts, and eight actors portray more than sixty characters in a series of short scenes.

  • Spirit Week 2009 Circus Juggling Juniors

Hey stop clownin' around! The Junior's theme was great. I loved it! It's fun to see people paint their faces! It's not often that you paint your face. This was my first time painting my face in a long long time. You usually paint your face on Halloween or if you're a hardcore sports fan or a person who likes make up. The lunchtime activities was interesting and fun. The game was called Clowns Wanted. The participants had to juggle, do cartwheels and ride tricycles. I'm part of the activies team so we've been planning and creating these lunchtime activities game for the past month. It was a blast.

I am a graduating this year. These are my last couple months of high school!

    Or
Should I attend the Senior Picnic?

*Dates are official and will not be changed.

    -$300 (cost of trip)
    -Miss Senior Picnic
-Miss last ever Spring Sports Awards

Attending Senior Picnic @  Little Hills Ranch

    Pros:
-First time attending a Senior Picnic
-Do not have to attend school on Friday
    -Little Hills will be fun.
    -Appox $30 for trip
-Hanging out, catching up, reminiscing with seniors
-Will be able to attend Spring Sports Awards

    Cons:
-Last festival performance with band, orchestra, choir
-It's Disneyland, the happiest place on earth

    I think that's everything.

What would you do? Any suggestions?
